Three Fortnights Press is an award winning boutique publisher specializing in women of color lead works. We focus primarily on ebooks but have a print on demand component for longer works.
We specialize in romance because we love LOVE, and if its wrapped in a fantastical fantasy world then even better!
The one major caveat is that we prefer our main characters to be women of color that are above the age of consent and consenting, and yes, that includes interracial romance, lesbian and bisexual ones too.
Our most popular titles are Shai August’s The Shifter Bachelor series. The four time award winning Alexis D. Craig’s Winged Guardians series, and the bestselling Shifted Into Love anthologies.
Other authors on our roster include Lisette Blythe's new adult college romances, Iyan D's futuristic science fiction, and the upcoming Michelle Y. Talbert's books for entrepreneurial ladies.
Eventually our goal is to publish new original women of color centered content every six weeks as in every three fortnights - get it.
We are a royalty-paying publisher, contracts will be provided for review once your submission has been accepted.
submission criteria
Our submission criteria is very simple!
Send first three chapters and a full table of contents (double spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman and 1 inch margins) of completed works with your query letter as the cover page to submissions.34Press@gmail.com. We only accept submissions electronically.
Works submitted that do not follow this criteria will not be reviewed.
Currently, we are accepting the following genres for future anthologies and publication.
African American Fantasy - think Octavia Butler or Nnedi Okorafor.
African American Contemporary Romance - think Brenda Jackson.
Erotica - think Zane.
Historical Romance - think Beverly Jenkins.
Holiday Romances - think Hallmark movies but with POC.

New Adult/Young Adult Contemporary
Paranormal Romance
Romantic Suspense/Mysteries
Science Fiction/Fantasy

We do not accept works that do not feature a WOC as the central character.
Any non-fiction submissions must be geared toward women of color.
We do not accept any autobiographies or memoirs.
