BookTok Bash on the Bayou is the first ever "bookish" market! Coming to South Louisiana on the beautiful bayou front community center in Plaquemine, La.
Walk inside and immerse yourself with bookish vendors of all walks of life. If you love to read this is the shopping experience for you.
From 10am-4pm you can expect to shop with independent bookstores, fandom artists, themed jewelers, apparel, and more!
For your experience we are bringing in a line up of author meet and greets, tiny tattoos, sweets and specialty drink makers.

Jambalaya Writers' Conference
The Jambalaya Writers’ Conference has celebrated over 20 years of readers and writers attending panels with esteemed authors and publishing agents. This program would not be possible without the support of the Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library. JWC continuously strives to promote art within the community. Mid City Micro-Con 2026
Mid City Micro-Con is a popular, fun, comic book and pop culture event hosted by the East Baton Rouge Parish Library (EBRPL) at their Main Library at Goodwood in Baton Rouge, LA featuring comics, creators, cosplay, and more for fans of all ages, essentially a mini-comic con experience focusing on graphic novels and fandom.

Authors Row - Jones Creek Regional Library
Discover works by local published authors at Author's Row! The Jones Creek Regional Branch Library will host this annual authors’ expo on Saturday, May 24. Author's Row provides a platform for budding as well as established local writers to gain exposure for their work. Authors from many different genres will be participating. Free and open to all ages, attendees will be able to interact with the authors and purchase books. Author's Row will be immediately followed by a speculative writing workshop, written by bestselling author Alex Jennings. Register online to save your spot!
