Book Girl Summer Giveaway Terms and Conditions:
Eligibility: The book giveaway is open to legal residents of the continental United States who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Three Fortnights Press, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
Entry Period: The entry period for the book giveaway begins on May 1st, 2024, and ends on June 27th, 2024. Entries submitted after the specified end date will not be eligible.
How to Enter: To enter the giveaway, participants must provide a valid email address through the designated entry form on Three Fortnights Press. Only one entry per person is permitted. Any attempt to submit multiple entries by the same individual will result in disqualification.
Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the entry period. The drawing will be conducted within 3 days following the end of the entry period.
Notification: The winner will be notified via email within 3 days of the drawing. The winner must respond to the notification email within 7 days to claim the prize. If the winner fails to respond within the specified time period, an alternate winner may be selected.
Prize: The prize for the book giveaway is paperback copies of books and any donated book swag from authors. The total approximate retail value of the prize is TBD. The prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
Privacy: By entering the giveaway, participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the giveaway and contacting the winner. The email addresses collected will be shared with all participating authors and/or publishers who provided books for the giveaway but will not be shared with third parties.
General Conditions: Three Fortnights Press reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the giveaway. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of Three Fortnights Press, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the giveaway.
Release and Limitation of Liability: By entering, participants release and hold harmless THREE FORTNIGHTS PRESS, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the giveaway or receipt or use of the prize.
Governing Law: The giveaway and these official rules are governed by the laws of the state of Louisiana without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Winner's List: For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Three Fortnights Press, P.O. Box 791150, New Orleans, LA 70179 within 30 days following the end of the giveaway.
